Description: A privately-manufactured air raid shelter incorporated into an ornamental garden pond post war. Partly buried below ground level, the shelter design was heavily influenced by the official government Anderson Shelter, but using alternative materials. Access was via a flight of steps covered by a porch.
Two small excavations (around the entrance and a ventilation pipe) were conducted followed by a full survey.
