Description: Clearance of vegetation from, and a full survey of, a circular brick-shuttered pillbox dating to c1942 at the site of the Aspidistra transmitter used for (amongst other purposes) black propaganda radio transmissions. Traces of a 3-tone camouflage paint scheme were found on the brickwork.
